Believe in Yourself

When you believe in yourself you have 100% of the people you need on your side.-Anima Vitam

When I started this blog, I had no idea where it was going. I just started after a google search. It has taken off faster than I could even imagine. I never knew people would want to listen to little old me. The girl with many struggles. The girl who was once a wreck. The girl who struggled with self esteem. But I have a clear vision now and that’s to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE, TRAVEL, LOVE.

Truth be told, I was a person who didn’t believe in myself. I always felt I didn’t have any talent because I can’t sing, I’m not the best dancer, I can’t do hair,I can’t draw, and the list goes on. But I could always WRITE!

When people use to ask what’s your talent or what’s your passion? I use to say I have no talent and there is nothing I am passionate about. I always use to say my talent is being a mother.

I can honestly say have found my talent. A talent I have always had I just never tapped into it. All through grade school and college, I could write a paper in a one day, two days max. And they would be passing grades, if it was C it was definitely a topic I didn’t like.

I’m proud to say I found, my talent. I’m a writer. I am now building a brand that I love. Working on my blog is working on myself. The crazy thing is it’s always been here. Sad truth, I just never believed in myself. I have been selling myself short for my entire life.

It brings me so much joy to know that people are listening and are becoming inspired. My daughter, told me I was a beautiful story teller.(Real Tears) I receive text messages from friends telling me how proud they are. I’m truly blessed.

When you hear the cliche saying, everyone has a talent it’s true.

Just know, that believing in yourself is key to a successful life. Believe you can do it, Believe you deserve it, and most importantly believe you will get it!

What’s your talent? How long has taken you to find your talent?

  1. I feel like you were describing me to be honest. I also didn’t think I had any talents… When I started my blog I didn’t even think I was a good writer at all.I force myself to publish each time I write because of thinking it’s mediocre, just to be surprised by the positive comments. So yes we actually have many talents and we’ll never know unless we tap in them😊
