Don’t ever take mirrors seriously, your true reflection is your heart, your choices, and life decisions. A mirror is simply a reflective glass that reflects your physical appearance. While you may be beautiful, your heart can be ugly. When you look in the mirror you are looking at every decision and choice you ever made.
The mirror is something we utilize to see surface features, but when you utilize the mirror to view your heart, your soul and your decisions. You will be amazed. I call it a mirror self-analysis.
Sometimes you must look at yourself and ask yourself, “Am I good with this decision?”
I have looked at myself in hindsight and wanted to smack my own self!
My kid is 23, so when she does something that I don’t agree with or think is not a good idea, I tell her, go look in the mirror. I ask her, “Are you good with that?” She may change her mind and she may not. I do know that, she rethinks. As taking a good look at yourself, changes yourself.
Looking in the mirror is that constant reminder, of your life decisions and choices.
Always know the mirror can be deceptive, while you may physically see a person who you think is beautiful. Do you have a beautiful heart? Are you happy with the decisions and choices you have made?
We can hide behind a lot of things, but we can’t hide from the truth or our heart. God knows and sees all hearts. It’s always good to do a self-analysis from time to time. Try to take a good look at yourself in the mirror before you do something. As the mirror will constantly remind you of your life choices and decisions.
As I age, I look at myself in awe, I laugh at my gray hair, I cry at my love handle, and I just smile because I am at a good place. I am telling you, try to just stare at your bare-naked self in the mirror and you will get a feeling that you have never felt before.
I challenge you to look at yourself, look beyond the surface and you will be amazed at what’s revealed.
What do you see when you look in the mirror beyond the surface?
When was the last time you did a mirror analysis?
