It’s Beyoncé birthday today! My Virgo sister. She is my all time favorite artist, so you know I had to show her some love. It’s time to celebrate the Queen. Yesssssss, I am an elite member of the Bee Hive. I am the President of the VIrginia Chapter.
I stan hard for Beyoncé, I was up at 3 am EST watching her Coachella performance that was streamed live on you tube. I was up for 2 hours in the house jamming like I was at Coachella.I danced to all my favorite songs Diva, Upgrade You, Partition, Drunk In Love, and everything else.
I believe if you don’t like Beyoncé you are a hater. That’s just my personal opinion. I have always been a supporter of other strong powerful women, never a hater. But I respect your choice. (shrugs) However, no one can deny that Beyoncé is one of the most talented women in the world.
Not only is she an amazing entertainer , she is a feminist, and she is proud to be a black woman. I love that most about her. Whenever she perform, she always represents the African American culture.
I had the pleasure of attending a Beyoncé and Jay Z, OTR II concert July 27, 2018 at the FedEx Stadium in Landover, MD.
Going to concerts is one of my favorite past time, as I love just being in the midst of people living life and enjoying themselves. Listening to music, vibing, and having a great time. This was one of the best concerts I ever been to, despite the fact I had nosebleed seats.
The concert started with Chloe x Halle and DJ Kahled. They were both great opening acts. Then Jay and B came out.
When Jay and B performed you could feel the genuine love that they had for each other. You can also tell that they mutually respect and support each others craft. Imagine working with your husband everyday.
When Beyoncé came out, people were in amazement, it was like people was not even dancing , we were all just staring at her because she was just that talented. Then she started performing and we all went crazy. They both put on an amazing show. She literally dances and sings for 2 hours straight.
Beyoncé’s the real MVP!
Jay Z did well, I have seen him in concert twice before. He do his little two step and we all just start rocking with him. Jay have a different kind of vibe. One of my favorite songs is 99 Problems, I love when he rock to that and the beat drop.
I must say that the concert was well worth the cost, even from my nosebleed seats. I will definitely go again, and I am willing to pay more to have better seats next time.
If you have never been to one of their concerts you are definitely missing out. Going to a Beyoncé concert was a Bucket List Item for me that has been checked off, but it’s back on my bucket list with closer seats.
The concert was a best. However, leaving the concert was completely chaotic, due to the massive crowd of a sold out show. Trying to get an Uber back to the hotel was almost impossible. We had a long ways to walk.
Beyoncé blew out the power at the super bowl. Well, she shut the ride share system down in Maryland. We couldn’t get an Uber or Lyft back because the system crashed due to the number of ride share request.
My feet couldn’t take it, I had to come out of my cute boots. My feet was on fire. I had to walk barefoot. I couldn’t take it anymore.
Side Note: I haven’t worn the boots since the concert
Finally, we got an Uber, after my friend flagged one down. The concert was the best I have seen, however, afterwards not so much. However, it was all worth it and I would do it all over again minus the high heel boots.
Happy Birthday B from the Bee Hive President of the VA chapter. When’s the next concert I’m ready!!
