2019 Wrap Up

Can you believe it’s a wrap for 2019? Time flies when you are just living and enjoying the moment. Living my life like it was golden, was an understatement. I was living and will continue to live my best life according to God’s plan.

The best thing about 2019 was I had no expectations and everything I imagined and deserved came true. So now I can understand the cliché saying have no expectations because you will never be disappointed. The only expectation I had, was that of myself. And that was to be a better person, as that’s what I ty to do every day. As each day we are born again, and we have another day to get it right.

Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.

2019 was a year of many highs and some lows. But this was one of the best years of my life. I believe it was my “DUE SEASON”.

Asking God for revelation has always been a struggle because I feared what would be revealed but for some reason this year, I was able to ask God for revelation. I prayed for revelation and loss friends. Initially I considered it a loss, but because the message came from God, I could only accept the loss of friends as a high.

This year I trusted my intuition and never questioned anything I thought. It was scary because I have always had a six sense but this year, I trusted my intuition and it guided me to new levels. Suppressing your intuition weakens it and I want to always trust my intuition and gut feeling.

Entering 2019 I was heartbroken and hurt. I wasn’t expecting to be in another relationship yet be married. However, I did speak it into existence, I said that I will be married again. I just didn’t know when. October 17, 2019 was one of the best days of my life, and I am forever grateful that I married my husband, my best friend. My soulmate and life partner.

I always wanted to do a blog however, I didn’t have clear direction or motivation until I met my husband who encouraged me. I treat my blog as if I treat myself, it’s a part of me. And I love it so much. My goal was to inspire and encourage one person, but I have learned that I have touched and inspired many and that brings me joy. I have a lot of new ideas for the blog in 2020. I want to collaborate with other bloggers, for me that’s important and I want to build my brand.

My daughter graduated from NCCU with a degree in Athletic Traing. The road wasn’t easy, but she persevered. There were times when she wanted to quit, but I have always told her start what you finish. And that once your degree is earned no one can take it away, now she is planning to go to grad school.

My visit to Africa was life changing, it is a place I believe everyone should experience. Every place I visit teach me a listen, Africa taught me to not complain about my life. The people were so warm and friendly. There was a lot of love, nothing I ever experienced before. I loved the culture. I loved the continent and most all I got married there, so my heart is full. I am complete.

As we wrap up 2019, I am extremely excited for the new year. A new year brings a new perspective, new goals, new changes, new possibilities, and a new mindset.
