20 Years From Now, Will You Have Any Regrets?

TWENTY YEARS FROM NOW YOU WILL BE MORE DISAPPOINTED BY THE THINGS THAT YOU DIDN’T DO THAN BY THE ONES YOU DID DO. SO THROW OFF THE BOWLINES. SAIL AWAY FROM THE SAFE HARBOR. CATCH THE TRADE WINDS IN YOUR SAILS.

EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.

Mark Twain

Do you know how fast the last 20 years of your life has passed? Just think! Imagine 20 years from now.

I can’t even think that far, as if I will be in my sexy sixties, yikes! Time really does fly so it’s important to live in the moment, enjoy every day, and do what you want to do.

We are not guaranteed 20 years from, however imagine how your life would be. Ask yourself:

  • Have I done everything that I wanted to do?
  • Have I been every where I wanted to go?
  • Am I the person I want to be?
  • Am I happy with the things I have accomplished in my life?

Live your dreams, do what you want to do. Get out, live your life, have fun. Most importantly surround yourself with the things you love.

Be authentically you and never settle, don’t feel bad for making life choices. Own your life and take control of your destiny.

Don’t be the person who say when I get a certain age, I am going to do this. DO IT NOW, you are not promised tomorrow.

So stop waiting all week for Friday, all year for summer,. Stop waiting for someone to fall in love with, for retirement, for vacation , to get married to live a quality life.

Don’t be a procrastinator of life.

Live your life to the fullest because you don’t want to be the person who let life pass you by and you have not accomplished anything.

**this blog post was inspired my a man named Carl who was a janitor, where I worked. He was the kind, nice, and treated everyone with respect. He was loved by everyone. Regardless of what’s going on, he would make your day. He died suddenly, I just spoke with him a day before, and the next day, less than 24 hours when I got to work he passed away. RIP Carl you will be greatly missed.**
